Daniel Harwin, ESQ.
Daniel Harwin represents victims of medical malpractice and those who have been wrongfully injured in catastrophic accidents. He also handles personal injury matters, pharmaceutical liability and cases involving nursing home and assisted living neglect and abuse. He has secured multi-million dollar settlements on behalf of his clients.
During the early part of his career, Harwin defended physicians and their insurance companies in malpractice lawsuits, which gives him a unique perspective for his current work representing consumers.
When he is not in trial, Harwin is busy lobbying for the rights of consumers, including serving as a board member for the Broward County Justice Association and a member of the Florida Justice Association’s Medical Malpractice Committee. He is also a member of the American Association of Justice Birth Trauma Litigation Group.
Harwin is also active in the community. He helps raise money for college scholarships through his firm’s participation in the Rotary Club of Weston Golf Classic fundraiser. He also helps raise money and awareness for the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and for the Harvest Drive, which provides food to Broward County families during the Thanksgiving holiday.
Harwin received his law degree from the University of Miami and his B.A. degree, with honors, from Rollins College in Central Florida. He is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted into the U.S. District Court Southern District of Florida. Since 2009, he has been included in Florida Super Lawyers list of “Up and Coming” attorneys.
