So a medical malpractice lawsuit in Florida really begins by hiring a lawyer that is experienced and has really handled complex medical malpractice cases. At our office, something that we’ve been doing for many years. Our process begins by, first, we review the medical records, and we do that with in house team of nurse investigators. Once, we’ve determined that we think a case has merit. We then send the case out to highly experienced, very well trained physicians that then review the case. And once they determine that there actually is a case that has merit, the case then goes into what’s called a 90 day pre-suit investigation. Once that’s completed, the case then gets filed and the lawsuit begins. And that’s when we really get to work.
