In a medical malpractice lawsuit in Florida, any healthcare provider who has been medically negligent or has fallen below the standard of care for their particular specialty can be held liable for their actions. This includes anyone from a scrub nurse in surgery to the surgeon, the anesthesiologist who should have cleared them properly. It can be pediatrician in their office, obstetrician in the office, anything along those lines, as long as it is a licensed medical healthcare professional.
